Hapag-Lloyd gives practical training courses a high priority. We would like to enable you to become acquainted with the processes in a modern service company, acquire specialist skills and gain practical experience. Courses of practical training are basically offered in the following specialist areas:

At Hapag-Lloyd, practical training courses last a minimum of eight weeks and are offered mainly to students from the areas of business management, economics, law or information technologie, ideally with a qualifying diploma. Internships are possible throughout the entire year, if required. Please allow for a waiting time of 3 to 6 months after submitting your application.

At Hapag-Lloyd, graduates are able to gain initial professional experience in the context of a trainee programme or on the job. You have to decide on your best way of joining the company.
